The assignment for this project was to use a pulse sensor to affect the functionality of some hardware or software. I decided to create a performance piece that is reminiscent of a particular scene in Lady and the Tramp:
A pulse sensor connects to each person’s ear and to a piece of “spaghetti” on the plate. The “spaghetti” is also attached to a motor underneath the stand that turns to the beat of each person’s heart. The speed of the heart beats affects how quickly the two people are drawn together.
